Ne-Yo Speaks Up About Beyonce's Supposed Leaked Track List
7:38AM Thursday
March 14, 2013

There are plenty of reasons not to believe in the authenticity of that handwritten Beyonce track listing that's floating around the Web.  For one thing, it's handwritten, and for another, it features some dreamy guest features including Ne-Yo, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake, that all seem just too good to be true.

But if Destiny's Child can reunite at the Super Bowl, then anything can happen.  And Ne-Yo, who spoke to Digital Spy about the supposed track list, didn't exactly insist that it was fake.  Instead, he joked, "I saw that Beyonce's tracklisting just leaked and I've got a couple of joints on there, which is good news.  I'm very happy about that."

Asked whether he believes the track list is the real deal, Ne-Yo says he doesn't know.  "I mean you never really can tell until the album comes out," he says, adding that he's been sworn to secrecy.

So while it remains to be seen whether Ne-Yo actually appears alongside Beyonce on a song called "More than Sex," he confirms that he was invited to contribute to her fifth studio album.  "I've heard some songs from the album so I knew what direction I should be going in," he says of the early stages of working on Beyonce's album.

There's no official word on whether Ne-Yo's contributions made the final cut of the disc, but he says he's just happy that "no songs have leaked from it yet.  Hopefully this is a sign for the future -- that music can come out when it's actually supposed to come out."

No official announcement has been released on when Beyonce's follow-up to 2011's 4 will arrive in stores.
