(LOS ANGELES) -- Christina Applegate has wed musician and composer Martyn LeNoble in a private ceremony.

US Weekly reports that the pair tied the knot after three years of engagement -- Applegate and LeNoble got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2010 --  though they've been together five years in all. They also share a 2-year-old daughter Sadie Grace, who was born January 2011.

Applegate, 41, credits LeNoble, 43, one of the founding members of the rock band Porno for Pyros, for helping her get through her breast cancer battle. She was diagnosed in 2008 and the same year underwent a double mastectomy. "I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life," the Anchorman actress told the magazine in 2010. "Without him, I don't know if I could've gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he's been a really incredible help."

This is the second marriage for both.  Applegate's was previously married to actor Johnathon Schaech for six years.
